We are so excited to have a dazzling array of speakers for this year’s conference! Returning to bless and empower us this year is Pastor Shules Hersh.
Shules Hersh was born in Colorado in 1982, married his soul mate in 2007 and became a father in 2010. Jewish by birth, Pastor Hersh is redeemed by rebirth. He lives in Austin, TX with his wife Brooke and their two daughters, Gemma and Callista. Ordained at Promiseland Church, in Austin, he has served on staff since 2010. He is the founder of Goshen Living – “a life model for people who want to be difference makers in their sphere of influence.” Goshen Living is a Christian Leadership resource and the face of his itinerant speaking ministry.
Well educated, literate and a consummate preacher, Shules Hersh was “raised under the pew” by former Marxist and LSD tripping, Jewish, hippy parents who found Jesus in the early 1970’s and recalls that by age five he was aware of the pull of destiny on his life. It wasn’t until 2003, however, that he reached a turning point and surrendered his life fully to Christ.
Since that time, Pastor Hersh’s ministry has taken him throughout the western United States, to Guatemala, Italy and most recently Haiti.
He says, “Reaching others is how I say, “Thank You” to Jesus for reaching me when I was past hope. In the end, I can imagine no other life.”
